Waiting and Choosing are not options Jessie and Stephen have if they want the family they've always dreamt of. Almost a year and a half after finally starting their happily ever after, Jessie and Stephen are struggling with the fight of starting their family and it's taking a toll on their relationships with their friends, family and each other. Jessie's condition has put an enormous strain on her physically, emotionally and professionally, and her well-meaning business partner/best friend isn't helping with the coping process. Things get worse for her when she feels God calling them into the mission field and away from the science that could make her dreams come true. Stephen doesn't know how to handle watching the love of his life struggle with all the stress her body is putting on her spirit. He watches, dismayed, as he feels the girl he's always loved start to slowly slip into a shell of a woman he barely recognizes. So when he feels God's calling, he embraces the opportunity for the change of pace for both of them. But neither of them expected the reason behind God's purpose for taking them so far from home.
