A Distant Paradise

To help her sister Susie, who had had a skiing accident, Barbara had agreed at very short notice to take Susie's place as ship's nurse on a cruise liner sailing to the Caribbean and Panama. The job had its enjoyable aspects -- one of them being Adam Conyers, the ship's surgeon! -- but there were problems too, among them Barbara's old love Gordon Ross, who suddenly turned up again, wanting to take things up where they had left off. There were more serious difficulties too -- just what had Susie let her in for?
