A Dirty Little Secret

Romance and suspense in Atlanta Georgia. John Beverly Estep, Bev to his friends, is worried his long time romance with Charlene (Charlie) Carter is coming to an end. His calls to Charlie while working a complicated and dangerous security contract in Arizona that kept him away from Atlanta for two months have been getting less and less romantic. Each time he hung up the phone, wishing he could somehow have asked what was going on, his depression grew and hope dimmed. But near the end of his contract, Bev receives a call from Charlie and she needs him in Atlanta. She won't say for what, but Bev detects a note of fear in her voice. Wrapping up his contract, he heads for Atlanta hoping there is still a chance to revive the only romance he has ever had or cares to have.
