A Diary of Bedtime Stories, Week 2 is an illustrated book of fables with a complete story for each night of the week.
These fairy stories are told by a mother to her twin daughters as adventures she experienced in her childhood. Each day the tale is different and each one is magical and special. The stories range from a squirrel who collects things and sells them for acorns to a magical tree where silk is made, and there is a special game the mother plays with her daughters. The book takes readers on a journey to secret places where all sorts of varied and wonderful things happen.
The first book in this series, A Diary of Bedtime Stories, is also available to buy. Week 2 can be enjoyed either on its own, (the first book is not necessary to understanding this one), or as a follow up to the first one.
These stories are suitable as bedtime reading for young children and as self-readers for children aged around 9+
