Daniella Chase had heard her fair share of warnings about Steve Sumner. So what if he was a tough boss and a notorious playboy? He was still the best trial lawyer in town, and she was determined to win the job as his assistant attorney. She wanted to learn from a man of ethics.

Problems arose within close quarters. Daniella found it difficult to draw the line between work and play when Steve was near. Before she had time for rebuttal he was sitting in her living room, playing ball with her sons, kissing her good-night.
