A Day Without Jessica

When a young girl is orphaned, she toys with the idea of going to London to fulfil her dream of becoming a catwalk model. Her mind is made up when her steady boyfriend, Ken, gets her drunk and tries forcing her into having sex. She had promised her mother she would stay chaste until she married, so his behaviour drives her away from the city where she was born. In London, she traipses the streets going from agency to agency. All she finds is sordid individuals who are only interested in exploiting her beautiful looks and figure. A chance meeting in a cafe' with a young couple seems to have been fate when they claim they will help her achieve her dreams, but was their meeting accidental or part of a plan?
