A Country Love Song

It's the middle 1960's. Times are changing but not for Rusty Taylor—a down and out Country music singer whose career took a nose dive when he started drinking. It isn't until he meets Cindy Lawson, a small town Texas singer that Rusty's career begins to pick up again. But even though the times are changing for most, they aren't for Rusty. His fans are still old fashioned and for him to make a comeback, he and Cindy need to be married

At first their marriage is for appearance only; but later, they find themselves falling in love with neither having the nerve to tell the other how they feel. It is then that Rusty writes the greatest song of his career, one which expresses his true feelings for Cindy and one he wants no one to see or know about.

Just when Rusty is about to make it to the top again, he suffers a heart attack. Now it is up to Cindy to decide if she should carry on his legacy or go back home When she finds Rusty's special song, a miracle occurs. She realizes Rusty's true feelings for her and gives her the strength to carry on.
