A Christmas Miracle

Maryann Darvis was travelling by stage to marry rancher Kirk Dalton when the stage turned over on the icy, snow covered road. The other passenger and driver were killed. She was thankful that her son, Tommy, and her were uninjured. She unhooked the team of horses and followed the road, hoping the town wasn't too far away.

Kirk Dalton packed up some supplies on a pack mule and rode out looking for the stage. The weather was miserable with over a foot of fresh snow and ice. He was worried about his uncle who was on the stage bringing him the money from the sale of his cattle that would get him through the next year. His mail order bride and her son were also on the stage and he hoped that they were okay. He needed a bride that could make their family whole again and prayed for a miracle.
