A Chip and a Chair

I would like to introduce you to a novel about the World Series of Poker main event in the year 2013 and beyond. The reader will play in this coveted tournament through the eyes of an aging professional poker player, who learns to never give up, when it no longer seems possible to continue, as he comes full circle with his past. It soon becomes apparent that this man has more to worry about than being eliminated from this tournament, as his past could eliminate him from life itself. The events leading up to or "hero's" unpredictable performance, revolves around the union of a Jewish New Yorker and a Christian Arkansan Coal Miner's daughter. All of this set against the excitement of Las Vegas and the "poker god's" latest creation, the Final Table Resort.
