About This Book

Mankind has moved out into the stars. Yet they are still frail and completely mortal. One way to stave off the ravages of time is to grow your own replacement parts. The best place to keep these parts is in a living breathing being. Cloning is so archaic and the parts are simply replicates of those faulty parts that you want to replace. It is so inefficient. In steps the Blanks. Beings grown from computer chosen DNA strands. They create the perfect Blank to harvest for their parts. To assuage the inevitable guilt, humans do not treat the Blanks like other humans. They are grown, not born then, they are given minimal education which essentially programs them to happily die for their owners. But, there is one woman that wants to fight for the rights of the Blanks. There is always one that fights against the grain and, she cannot be allowed to infect anyone else with her radical ideology. It will be difficult to stop a woman that has as much money and influence as this one but, that doesn't mean that they are not going to try. The lives of thousands hang in the balance of the fight of one woman against the Collective.
