A Bird in the Sky

Not far into the future, life is seemingly perfect. All work, manual and intellectual, is performed by machines. A plethora of drugs keep people emotionally content, and there is little reason to travel or pursue a higher education. However, not everyone is happy with the way things are. Ignoring rumors and warnings, four young people visit an abandoned section of their home city, where they begin to unearth the secrets of a time gone byâ€"a better time, some say. As the last people who remember this bygone age struggle to retain their freedom, these four attempt to return to life the forgotten ideals of a time they have only heard about. Facing obstacles and adversity every step of the way, they embark on an adventure of discovery and awakening that will restore their faith in humanity.
