18 Stones

In the 5th and last book of the Stones Series, the children of Chaiko, Dancer and Moon, go on a quest to find the source of a ring made of an unknown material. The story is another look at Chaiko and Dawn through the eyes of their children. Heading west, they encounter many challenges, new people and new cultures. Tark joins their search, sometimes helping them, most times just ignoring them. But the thing they seek is always further west into Eveningland. There is danger at every turn and they have to be clever to escape the many pitfalls. And the closer they get to the source, veiled in great secrecy, the harder it becomes and raises the question: will they be willing to pay the price.
